Welcome at the RF Royal Winter Eventing Show, shortly RWES! Looking back at a successful 2013-2014 edition, we hope you enjoy it this year just as much- we even added an individual show jumping class. Have fun!

:snowflake: Rules & info :snowflake:

Bullet; Blue Free linearts/greyscales or photo backgrounds are not allowed.
Bullet; Blue Re-using old drawings is not allowed.
Bullet; Blue Tracing is allowed.
Bullet; Blue Entries must be full body & with background, however we will allow 1 half body for 3DE.
Bullet; Blue Number and country flag must be shown somewhere.
Bullet; Blue (3DE) It's up to you whether you want to submit entries seperately or put all 3 together in 1 image.

Bullet; Blue Judging is effort based. Effort is not necessarily shown in how realistic something is, but the feeling you get from looking at the drawing.
Bullet; Blue Extra images will give you extra points.
Bullet; Blue Points will be docked for wrong arena, jump, weather, etc.

Bullet; Blue Refusals, spooking, falls etc are allowed and won't reduce your chance of winning. However, the horse may not get severely injured.
Bullet; Blue Ponies and fantasy horses are allowed. (be a little realistic though, a Shetland pony won't get over a CCI*** cross country course..)

:snowflake: Day planning :snowflake:

DAY 1
Everyone's arrival, in our special parking meadows.
Slightly cold day, no wind no sun.

DAY 2
Colder than yesterday, a quite grey day. Vet inspections throughout the day.
In the evening it starts snowing once it gets dark. The dressage starts at this time.

DAY 3
The weather has cleared up - it's a beautiful day. Sunny, everything covered in a white blanket.
Individual show jumping throughout the entire day, there's a very fun and active atmosphere hanging around,
people from the town have come to look at all the spectacle.
When night falls, the first rider and horse go into the cross country course.

DAY 4
Calm weather. Rest day - no classes or inspections are held.
Participants are free to rest or use any of the arenas to train.

DAY 5
3DE show jumping class - the day seems identical to the individual show jumping's day.
Award ceremony in the late evening.

:snowflake: Dressage

Held on day 2, held in the indoor arena while it's dark and snowing outside. Warm and cozy atmosphere inside.
Arena: long side  // short side
Dressage fences with flowers will be placed.
Horses can be drawn performing any of the movements below:
- Halt & salute
- Collected trot
- Shoulder-in
- Travers
- Rein-back 4-5 steps
- Extended walk
- Medium canter
- Collected canter
- Simple change of lead

Held on day 3 (individual) and 5 (eventing), in the outdoor arena *photo is including the entire scenery (the trees, path and pasture in the bg, etc) but a 3-railed fence. Arena itself has been cleared of snow.

Held on day 3 - at night. Don't worry, there are lights put up in trees along the way and jumps are brightly lit, even though it's not entirely needed; it's a very calm night with a beautiful clear sky, and the moon already lits up the snow so much, you can see quite well.

Bullet; Blue Donations give +5 points to all your entries.
Bullet; Blue Advertising this event (journal/poll) gives +3 points to all your entries.
Bullet; Blue Stories can gain extra points, max of +5.

Bullet; Blue Of every 'type' below, you can draw only 1 per own horse. HOWEVER: every drawing made by someone else competing, and your horse is somewhere in the background, adds 1 point to your horse.
Bullet; Blue Points will be docked if the arena/time of day/etc is not correct.
:bulletred: One (1) extra image is required! Last year, the vet check was a required image, but this year I give you the option to choose one yourself.
